Chris Sawyer gets his RCT pin
January 8, 2003 - Here's what Chris had to say:
"I think it's fantastic. I think I spent the first couple of days playing it constantly and now tend to try to avoid playing it because a 'quick go' usually ends up as several hours of lost work time. Friends and family have also tried it and really enjoyed it - I'm even going to get my 90-year-old grandmother up here sometime to see how she gets on with it!"
Stern's pinball machine is based on the popular RollerCoaster Tycoon' CD-ROM game from Infogrames, Inc. RollerCoaster Tycoon was introduced in 1999 and has since sold over 5 million copies, making it them most popular amusement park game ever made for the PC. Complimenting the release of Stern's new pinball machine has been the introduction of Infogrames' RollerCoaster Tycoon 2', the sequel to the popular PC game.
Gary Stern says, 'I am personally thrilled that Pat Lawlor has captured the essence of RollerCoaster Tycoon'. Video players that we entice to try pinball will be thrilled too.'
Stern Pinball is still producing ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON'. The company would like to report that it has been a very successful selling and earning pinball machine.
