Playboy on TV

August 6, 2002- The game not only will be a permanent prop on the set, but it will also be played regularly, according to Playboy sources.

The Weekend Flash will be a general interest news show with a slant. While not attempting to provide breaking or controversial news, The Weekend Flash will cover the most important stories of the day while trying to provide a broadcast that is generally balanced and upbeat in tone. Features, Interviews, Sports, and Entertainment segments will address topics likely to be of interest to Playboy TV's demographics, chiefly the Male/Female 18-36 market.

All anchors and correspondents will tastefully disrobe while delivering their stories. Their focus will be on the news; the viewer's focus is up to them. While the news staff will be naked, their behavior will not be sexual – they'll be delivering the news.

The show premieres on Friday, September 6, 2002. It airs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30pm EST / 9:30pm PST. In 2003, the current plan is to expand into a daily show.

Gary Stern says, “We appreciate Playboy's inclusion of our pinball machine in their new news program. It should help to increase the exposure of pinball in general and this game in particular, and in turn, bring in more players and home buyers.”
