PLAYBOY PINBALL MACHINE ON GIRLS NEXT DOOR
May 6, 2008 - On April 30th both National and Chicago-based Fox News Television broadcast live from Stern Pinball's factory in Melrose Park, IL. Such a broadcast demonstrates that the public remains highly interested in pinball and its continued success.
The Fox Business Report went live at 6AM EST as reporter Jeff Flock interviewed Gary Stern next to a row ofINDIANA JONES pinball machines on Stern Pinball's factory floor. Gary discussed the game, as well as the history and future of pinball. There were subsequent live broadcasts from the factory floor throughout the day, as Jeff interviewed INDIANA JONES game designer John Borg and DISNEY'S PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN game designer Dennis Nordman. Software engineer and champion pinball player Lyman Sheats demonstrated theINDIANA JONES pinball by playing a ball for the camera.
Gary Stern comments, "The public loves pinball and the news media knows it. This type of reporting generates more demand for pinball to play and buy. Folks are looking for places to play."
