Stern Christmas Party

January 1, 2003 - Held at the Capri Restaurant in Melrose Park, the Stern staff celebrated with drinks, dinner, dessert, and discussions of pinball. Attending the party was Stern's newest designer, Steve Ritchie, as well as other game designers, including George Gomez and the staff at Pat Lawlor Design. Also in attendance were artists Kevin O'connor and Margaret Hudson, as well as sound designer Chris Granner. Gary Stern thanked everyone, and attributed to the company's success to the hard work and innovation of its dedicated staff. He also emphasized the importance of licensed titles, and making games that are fun and understandable to the casual player, while still challenging to the expert player. Overall, the evening was a great success and enjoyed by all in attendance.
