Pinball Portrait

February 09, 2012 | Jon Chad

Hello you beautiful flipper folks!  Short post today.  I've started doing a series of portraits of people that have contributed something to pinball, be it in its history, or just being a fixture of the community.  I decided for the first one to go big and do Roger Sharpe, whose contributions to pinball led to its relegalization in the 70's.  I tried to capture that legendary plunge in the bottom of the portrait.  Can you recognize the game?

I have a bunch of these portraits in the wings.  Maybe after I've done a bunch I'll turn them into either prints, or one big poster.  Interested?
