You need to replace the italian display rom (U5) with an english display rom.

I have a Pirates of the Caribbean. You can get the bulb from any hardware or Wal-Mart. It's 20 watts and about 1" in diameter.

"24" - possibility to bring in "missing things"?

Hello "24" Pinball Fans

Now, Steve is back at STERN, it's time to re-ask the great Question:

It would be great, if the "24" becomes a "finish update":
- using of the "24" Hour (Function is adjustable, but not in yet): I think this would randomize the misssions, or start with the mission equal to the ral time.
- Relight the 6 Mission lamps: It would help for a better knowing, witch Mission is activ
- Stop Counting, when the Ball is in the Bumper Section (as in Avatar).

Greetings from Switzerland

Adrian

Beatles Pinball?

I assume from the Rolling Stones and AC/DC machines that the Beatles was considered as a possible theme by Stern. License unavailable? Too expensive? One modes s could be Helter Skelter (back to the top of the slide (ramp)). A yellow submarine toy could be fun (is the animated film a second license?)

oke here goes the story:

I have a apollo 13
Played perfect for some years, sometimes it would just reset the game during multiball when the vuk kicks up the bal on the rails.
So i replaced the BRDG 21,LM338,Cap and the coil+diode.
Now the 5 volt is perfect at 5,1 volts no more reset problems
Now a new problem has come in to play.
The bridge 21 and the lm338 becomes verry hot i can not touch it anymore after just 2 mins.
Game start s fine that s the strange part
Also my moon magnet does not work anymore.

If i disconnect the cpu board and only put power om my i/o power driver board and disconnect every wire
It still gets so hot i can t touch it

please help me i am going crazy!!

For a WoF code update, $7000 would be reasonable - and then they can give their designers 3 months of paid time off.

This is probably a repeat, but I heard JK said no to the rights to a Harry Potter Themed Machine. Is this correct?

WOF is the most underrated Stern Game by FAR... I got mine not expecting a whole lot, and did not really like the theme - but the layout with the double out lanes really puts nudging and knowing when NOT to flip as the priority to getting high scores. The game is super deep with so much strategy to employ and yet it is fun the whole time. I highly recommend any Pinball fan to give it a fair shake..

I dunno--I think WPT might be the most underrated Stern pin. I bought one last summer and still cannot stop playing it. It gets more than 50% of my plays at home out of the 6 pins I have. But I agree, I really like WOF too. Would probably buy one if I found a deal, definitely if the code were finished. And yes, as suggested in another thread, I would pay a reasonable price for a code update!

It's been done (only better: WW*F* as in "'F' the 'E'"!) Seriously, check out the Data East (Stern predecessor) WWF game. Really a great game, many people who've never played it love it when they do. It's a widebody with Hulk Hogan, Macho Man (RIP), Undertaker ("contemporary"? He's been around a LONG time!), Bret Hart, and others. There's a 2-flipper mini-pf, 9 modes selectable by ramp/orbit shots, diverters galore, 2 scoops, 2 different multiballs, etc. And a big shaker motor that really makes the game *rumble*. If you want a wrestling pin, you should definitely check this game out!

Hi Guys,

I just got a real nice TSPP machine, and apart from no cosmetic problems, I can't seem to get Portals to trigger anything!

I can't make it fire coils or switches or lights!

That would be easy to ignore, but also none of the light targets are working (none!). I guess I'm missing a connector somewhere, where is the main connector for all of the under table lights? It's really hard to play without seeing what targets I should me making!

I had this problem myself.

The problem is the Y switch in the VUK isn't firing properly.

Take out the VUK (5 screws on mine) and then just bend up the Y shape on the switch so that it's easier for the ball to trigger.
