Stern Pinball Press Release

Chicago Is Playing Pinball!

June 16, 2007 - Gary Stern and Marc Schoenberg of Stern Pinball, Inc. attended the opening of the interactive exhibit, "Art of Play," which features the SPIDER-MAN™ and FAMILY GUY™ pinball machines along with other entertainment products made in Chicago.  Put on by the City of Chicago Tourism Board, this summer long interactive exhibit occupies the whole first floor of 72 E. Randolph Street in downtown Chicago (corner of Randolph and Michigan Ave. at Millennium Park).  The exhibit runs from June 1 through September 30.

The pinball machines at the exhibit are set on free play so as to allow visitors from all over the world to experience Stern's SPIDER-MAN™ and FAMILY GUY™ pinball machines at their fullest.  The show also educates visitors on the history of pinball in Chicago through billboards of older pinball machines, including games by Genco, Chicago Gaming, Gottlieb, and Bally.

"Art of Play" coincides with over 150 events that feature toys, games, and the spirit of play all over the Chicagoland area.  "Art of Play" also offers Chicagoans and visitors of all ages a series of interactive performances, demonstrations, and workshops throughout the city.
