Sharkey's SHOOTOUT

Skill Shot - Most games have a Skill Shot. At the beginning of each ball the player has an opportunity to plunge the ball into play such that it will complete some unique goal. In Sharkey's the Skill Shot represents a Pool Break. If the player makes the skill shot they receive everything they would get for spelling CUE plus a pool ball is spotted (given to the player).

Spelling C U E - At the top of the playfield are 3 lanes the ball can fall through. These lanes are labeled CUE respectively. When the player completes the three lanes he receives a Bonus Multiplier and starts Bumper Pool.

Bonus Multiplier - This multiplies the End of Ball Bonus thus making it more valuable. The first multiplier awarded is 8X, then 11X, etc. There is a cap at 50X.

Bumper Pool - Bumper Pool runs for a small amount of time unless it is restarted. During Bumper Pool each bumper hit is worth an inflated amount. Many things can restart Bumper Pool including the ball hitting a bumper.

Bumper Pool Advanced - When the ball exits the bumper area stage left (or the ball falls in the hole right of the bumper) the Bumper Pool value is increased. Then each bumper hit is worth more. This also restarts the Bumper Pool timer.
